Fine Print: Indiegogo · 12:59am Apr 19th, 2021
Hey pones, I'll be brief with this one. Just wanted to make sure everybody knew that we're doing a hardcover version of Fine Print! The campaign is running now and for the next month. The book will have all the illustrations from the fimfiction edition (over 50!) along with an original short story serving as an extended epilogue for how Tracy and Roseluck have done a year after the story ends.
We've already met our goal, so publication is a go, we'll just be waiting until the end of the campaign and then starting the print-run.
If you'd like one, go ahead and grab it here: https://igg.me/at/fine-print . The books are full-color, hardcover, and approximately 480 pages. And if anyone would like a copy but for whatever reason you can't get it through Indiegogo, feel free to drop a message to my email listed on the campaign, and we can work out something else.
No pressure though. I'm already super excited that we got funded, and I wanted to share the good news.

After the campaign ends, will it still be possible to get a copy? I want to support and get a copy. I love this story but my current economy does not allow me to get it very soon ....
This comment is made with google translate, sorry if the writing is somewhat confusing ...

Send an email to the address listed on the campaign and tell me to set aside a copy for you. I can hold one for a few months.
I will be buying extra books to keep in my warehouse (a shelf in my garage), and I'll still sell them when the campaign ends. But when they run out, they're gone for good.
How does the copyright work with this sort of thing?!
Does the $30 and $35 books come with the extended epilogue? Or is the only way to get the extended epilogue by getting the $100 book?

All the books come with the extra words. The top tier is for people who have a custom chapter for me to write, you don't need to back at that high a tier.

I'm not going to give legal advice, but the TLDR is that Hasbro has been tolerant of famfiction printings in the past. But I can't sell this in any store, and they could shut any of us down if they wanted to.

Thank you for answering my question, I really appreciate it. :)
I'd like to get a signed copy... I can afford $35, but I don't have a credit card.
In China, at least for a college student like me, credit cards are not popular. I had not even heard of credit cards before I went to college.
Although the law stipulates that Chinese citizens after the age of 18 can apply for credit cards, but my parents will not agree...
I loved Message in a Bottle.
Both that and Fine Print are examples of how to turn common tropes into world-building stories that leave readers counting down the days until the next chapter is released.

If you want to buy a copy but don't have a card, if you could pay with anything that was compatible with paypal, you could get one! Just email me at the address on the campaign website.

Thank you. I'll contact my friends who have paypal

Thank you for answering my question, I already sent an email, and I am waiting for news!

Yeah, you're fine. You're not trying to make money on this (and if you are, it's a trivial amount). Not worth it for anyone to send lawyers after. There are plenty of other printed fanfictions out there.
*hugs his beautiful hardcopy of Fallout: Equestria*
Dang, that IndieGogo is already at 360% of the original goal. Nice.
Twi: THE CHART SAYS!
actually, i wish it was more clear what they talking about
Will be paying for a signed copy as soon as we finish driving across country, so about a week from now.
Happily I appear to have plenty of time.
What do I do if I want to buy a book but the books are sold out?
