So, it looks I came down with food poisoning after ordering fast food from a new restaurant last night..... · 10:30am Apr 15th, 2021

The idea was faithful and happened with the best intentions, no time to cook or to go grocery shopping because of writing, so ordering fast and cheap food from a small restaurant, which was one I had never ordered from before. Sadly, a few hours after consuming that food, the strongest headache I know kicked into my skull. And just a little after that, my arms and legs began to tremble involuntarily, my entire body felt weak and my stomach was stinging with pain. Then the puking started, four times in total. I spent the night writhing around in pain in bed, later in the chair, hoping for the pain to end, occasionally interrupted by leaning myself over the toilet, then went to a doctor in the morning. I self-diagnosed food poisoning already, which the doctor agreed with. Also got a corona test, which was thankfully negative. The only really good news from that, after more than a year, I still haven't gotten the virus.
Last night, the plan was to finish Chapter 18 of "Dreamwalker Dash" for its 2nd Anniversary. The intense headache and the other afflictions made that impossible. Right now, I am trying to recover myself into a state that isn't near total exhaustion from a painful and nearly sleepless night and morning. Once I have reached that state, I will attempt finishing the chapter for today. I should take care of my health, and I'm trying to, but there's no way I can just sacrifice the 2nd Anniversary of "Dreamwalker Dash". So, I will try to finish the chapter.
If it is at all possible that I manage to write today, Chapter 18 will come out for the anniversary as planned. Stay here for updates, they will come, in one way or another.

You should probably never order from that place again, whatever it was, and maybe report your food poisoning to the manager, but other than that, I wish you well, feel better soon
Don't know if it works for others but apples work on settling my stomach when sick. Recover quickly.
Don't worry about the story if you're feeling sick. Looking after you always comes first. But remember to leave a really terrible rating for that fast food place online.

Thank you for all the kind comments! I feel a lot better now, thanks to some medicine and light food including mashed apples. But the anniversary couldn't be met for the most important chapter of the story, I was awake a total of two hours and thirty minutes since yesterday, the rest was spent sleeping, and that just wasn't enough time to finish the chapter and release it. That sucks more than the physical afflictions..... A brutally honest, public rating with description of the events has been submitted to the restaurant.
I will polish Chapter 18 and release it once the remaining, spoiled food has left me.
