Rubicon News For April! · 8:50pm Apr 11th, 2021
Mentioned I was gonna do one of these soon, so here it is. I know people are twitchy for the rest of the story.
We're still working on it. I just passed 450k for Rubicon as a whole yesterday when I finished a 6k word chapter. So as you can see, we're not idle, and are churning out chapters pretty steadily. This is just the really dense arc with a lot to go over. But OMG, I really think you guys will love it when we get done. (just did a block of like four chapters that are guaranteed to make you have FEELINGS.)
Beyond that, there's still several "Side Stories In Progress." Harmony is being worked on, and there might just be a new two shot from my beautiful editor and co-creator before the end of April that features Glamour Shot that I've already fallen in love with as a short (and we've not even hit it with the editing pen yet!) I'm also shaping up Cassandra's Cry for publication, and we're working on the outline for the big Sidestory that we'll be doing right after Rubicon Arc 2, called Supernova.
In the meantime, I'm just going to get chugging away at the next chapter.
As a serious question, we've debated giving you guys teaser bits in some more regular blog posts. What would you guys think of that? Would it spoil the future story to get a few teasers? Or would it just make you all the more eager to read the end result? :P

I personally would avoid the teasers, but that's the beauty of it; if you don't want them you can ignore them and they're still there for those who do like them :).
