A federal judge declined to impose prison time Wednesday on a former member of a neo-Nazi ring that threatened journalists, finding that the 21-year-old — who concealed his transgender identity from his co-conspirators — had already suffered enough in his young life.
Taylor Parker-Dipeppe, of Spring Hill, Florida, was charged in early 2020 along with three other members of the Atomwaffen Division, a white supremacist group.
Parker-Dipeppe’s attorney, Peter Mazzone, said prison would be devastating for his client, who suffered abuse from an unaccepting father, from an alcoholic stepfather and from school bullies who tormented him.
Parker-Dipeppe, who goes by Tyler, had known since age 5, when he was growing up in Egg Harbor, New Jersey, that he wanted to be a boy, but his father threw away the “boy clothes” his mother bought him and physically abused him, including choking him, Mazzone wrote in a sentencing memo
He moved to Florida to live with his mother and her husband, who one day came home drunk and beat him severely, breaking his front tooth and smashing his head against the driveway.
“This led him to just seek acceptance, and unfortunately he found it from these knuckleheads,” Mazzone said, referring to the group of about 10 boys, mostly 15 and 16 years old, who made up the Florida Atomwaffen cell
So we got a Female-to-Male trans who got beat by both his father and stepfather and ultimately decided to seek comfort with Neo Nazi's because of that.

Dude there's a startling correlation no one talks about between gender dysphoria and being abused and beat as a kid. I guess if you don't feel comfortable in your own skin because you have PTSD, it's easy to buy into the woke/transgender worldview and misattribute that discomfort to gender dysphoria. I've straight up seen that happen to friends on the autism spectrum, seeking to understand their emotions.
Just as well he's not going to jail; the neo nazi contacts in jail would probably just kill him because he came out to them.

That could be because the scum around those trans people don't/won't understand/accept the fact that these people feel like they were born the wrong gender.
To me, it sounds more like he was abused because he is trans. And not that he became trans because of his abuse, as it sounded like it was what you were trying to say.
Could just as well be that they kept it hidden from everyone around them up until that point.

A crime is a crime, it doesn't matter who the fuck committed it and what their upbringing/gender/color/etc.. is. The full extent of the law should have been applied.
Fuck that judge, this is why we need to as citizens be able to remove judges from the bench and bar them from law for life.

The fact that an ideology so focused on blood heritage purity and "superior" body characteristics was the choosen safe haven for a transgender person, baffles me.
Also...no matter how much empathy you feel towards a violent childhood: the guy...girl...well...whatever, threatened black jewish people. That´s, like, double evil in my book...like you kick a pup...and the pup has a disability. By this line of though, the guy...girl...whatever can do pretty much anything, and just use the "I Had a Violent Childhood ´cause Transgender Reasons Card" to get free of charges !
And you know what ? A lot of people have the exact the same problems (violent childhood, bullying) and don´t turn in literal nazis, threatning black jewish people ! Do we have, now, two separate sets of laws...one for transgenders, one for non-trangenders ?

I know many people who went trans; over 30 in fact, which is enough to start applying statistics reasonably. A startling half of them were abused before they went trans. It's possible others in the group just weren't comfortable talking about it.
Not sure what the child abuse rates are on average, but that seems scary high to me. If anyone's a psychologist out there, this would be grounds for a decent research paper. I'm not in that field so I'll just keep to my own work.
Oh, I see. So the "transgender panic defense" needs to be illegalized, but the "transgender needed comfort" defense gets you off scot-free?

Correlation doesn't equal causation. When you start from a faulty position there is nowhere reasonable to go.
That given, it's fair to assume people are seeking comfort where they can find it.
How about if you do a crime, you do the time. And what you were born as is where you go, problem solved. We already baby our prisoners and criminals. You give up your rights the moment you step on the rights of your fellow citizen.
If someone commits a crime, then they should fulfil the sentence. It doesn't matter how they grew up, the law shouldn't be moved aside just because someone had a tough upbringing, they are still accountable to their actions.

A lot of serial killers are victims of extreme child abuse or other such trauma, yet no one gives them a pass for their actions.
I honestly agree here, you don't get a pass because of race, sexual identity, orientation or because of your upbringing.
Maybe a reduced sentence at best but something must be done.
A crime is a crime regardless of those factors.

I wouldn't say a while ago. From what the article said they left just before being arrested for the crimes, well were thrown out when the leader of the group found out they were trans.
They didn't willingly leave the group and this leaving happened shortly before their arrested and not long after the crimes they committed so not very long.
Basically they are not willingly a former member which doesn't mean theu don't still believe in the crap and you can be a former member of something within seconds.
