Vaccinated! · 2:38am Apr 1st, 2021
Today, I finally got my first Covid vaccination. My second will be on the 28th of April. It was surprisingly easy; I just walked in, filled out an easy form, got poked, waited fifteen minutes, and walked out. Easy as pie.
If you haven't already, I strongly urge everyone to get the vaccine when it becomes available to you.
Nice, got mine yesterday.
Which vaccine did they give you?
I'm eligible now, apparently, but there aren't any reservations available in my area. And even if there were, I don't have any easy means to get out for one at a moment's notice. Stupid job.

I didn't get the name, I just know it the two part vaccine like what my mom got.

That's rough.

I'll work through it, though. I want this damn pandemic to be over.
I am getting my first vaccination tomorrow.

Just drove back from the hospital NOW from my 2nd dose actually. In 14 days, I'll be fully vaccinated! (The vaccines all take 2 weeks to take full effect. Longer for the Johnson&Johnson I think.)
If the vaccine they gave you needs a 2nd dose then you either got the Moderna or the Pfizer (for simplicity I'm just assuming you live in America as every country is choosing among a growing list of vaccines) . You should have gotten a card stating which one, and it's important because your 2nd dose has to be the same one.

Name should be on the card they gave you to take to your second-shot appointment (so if they gave you Pfizer-Biontik the first time they won't give you Astrazenaca the second time).
