The whole wide world has been a mess. Speed on back to work in soul crushing environments when working at home has never been more practical than it is right now, especially for white collar. So much illness could be avoided by simply not going anywhere, as could pollution. The last two years have been an eye opener, yet I fear nothing will have been learned by the masses when it is all over, and the desire to return to the grind so many have been conditioned to think is vital will see us back to where we were or worse.
I have always been completely open about my dislike of pollution as well as being ill in any manner. And one of these things does not help the other. The telephone is the world’s best invention of the nineteenth century, mobile of the twentieth. And email has only made it more practical to stay at home for extensive periods of time. I don’t get why anyone thinks a near complete lack of traffic is a disaster that severely harms us all. I wish it could last longer, and see the improvement in air quality. Climate change is real.
Pandemic, economic recession, civil unrest. It greatly annoys me when people write off the flu as a mere annoyance that does no harm whatever when they should do everything in their power to avoid it. Kansas happened to be ground zero for an influenza pandemic that indiscriminately wiped out people from all walks of life around the entire world, regardless of how robust one’s immune system was. Strong, weak, white, black, domestic, oversea, rich, poor, old, young, no one seemed safe from that. The current thing isn’t quite that lethal, but about as transmittable. Mainly does away with those with compromised immunities beyond all else. The influenza is no laughing matter, any more than car accidents are.
I sincerely wish everyone would be buried by their own stupidity, as that would remove the idiocy from the world. Unfortunately, these fools are protected to the detriment of all. Reduce the surplus population. Typhoid Mary.
Kelley Thomas is fortunate not to see what this all came to. Cremated for cruelty.
I cannot be the only one who ever wanted to see all intelligent life go barren to prevent them from doing more ecological damage. Prevent more of them from keeping a vicious cycle going.
