Looking for a new editor · 12:20pm Mar 17th, 2021
Hello again,
I'm back a bit sooner than usual. The news this time is that my editor and I have decided that it would be best for me to look for a new editor for my stories, primarily the currently offline for reworks Nocturnals, and the things related to it. Which to be fair is basically everything I write.
Now, I know that there's specific groups I could turn to to look for an editor, but I wanted to try it here first because... Admittedly, I'm kinda afraid of ending up with an editor that just doesn't like what I'm writing or the style I use. Like, at all. I'm very self concous about my work, so a purely negative feedback would probably kill what little confidence i have basically completely for a while. So I thought that by posting the request here first, it's at least marginally more likely that someone who's already familiar with my stuff sees it first. That way I hope to avoid the aforementioned situation.
While an editor itself would already be awesome, I would also be open if someone wanted to be involved more. By that i mean someone I can talk to about plot and scene ideas to figure out a good way to approach things without glaring plotholes, OOC show characters (unless the changes are a point of the AU), and stuff like that. In my personal definitons, that would be called a Coauthor. And if you are only down for helping with the planing, that would also be awesome. Altough if you want to help but not get spoiled, proofreading or testreading finished episodes would also be really helpful.
Both options obviously would at least entail a credit in the description of the stories, my personal gratitude, and any help with your own stories I can give.
So, if you're interested, send me a DM and we'll see how it goes.
Yours truly,
Blackyoshi
