I'm not Dead and neither is Speak! · 4:23am Mar 13th, 2021
Hey all!
Sorry for the comm silence the last few day-...wee-no, Months? Months? Decades? Time allegedly passed between 2019 and 2021 and I'm still not sure how long it actually was.
I am actively working on Chapter 22. I know that's like 'Heartshine you were doing that last year', and that's true, but this pandemic has been hard on everyone's mental health. I'd hoped to get some time to write after Christmas, but January turned into the month of everyone is having a hard time, so that was out. Then February became 'everyone needs to be civilly committed' and I lost and entire month to working basically 48-72 hour shifts as I covered days for the investigations and then the overnights. Which hasn't helped me poking at Speak really.
That said, I am still here, I am still kicking, and I want to get this chapter wrapped up so I can get back to the plot of things. Not that Threnody getting herself well isn't the plot - it very much is - but I also know that I can't keep the story forever wrapped up in Fallout Equestria: High School Anime Edition.
Anywho, hopefully I'll be able to get a draft sent to the editors before the end of March!

Yeah, usually I wait 2 years before unfollowing a story but 2020.... yeah all the stories are staying a bit longer

- Glad to know that you all right! Well, not entirely but still! The epidemic years really hard time for everyone so I happy to see news from you! Well, I know that feel when you work hard, have no time or even power to "drive writing well", same here with my own story. So, I wish you to be okay, gather might and do story even by small steps! We all wait new chapters anyway, so don't push too hard yourself!

This is the worst My Little Pony/ High School Anime Edition crossover ever. No panty shots (because no one is wearing panties), no love triangles and nobody has hit someone on the head with a hammer pulled out of thin air. Maybe that's going to happen when Sunset finally shows up.
Speak still being continued is a pleasant surprise! After almost a year without any updates I had a feeling that this story would be on a permanent hiatus. Glad to see that I was wrong.
Afterall this story was my introduction to Fallout: Equestria and Blackjack, acharacter I'm still not sure about whether i want to hug her or slap her in the face.
Hopefully this year will be better than the last. But considering how it started, I’m not overly optimistic.

I see that Calback finally wrapped up FoE: New Pegas on 8th Jan this year after last posting in October 2016. I can wait when a story is well written. I still have a couple I am following that are really slow on updates:

Glad to hear you are still planning on writing it more. But while I cannot wait to read more of it please take care of yourself first. 2020 and so far in 2021 have been extremely rough on everyone, but even more taxing on those in your profession. I hope things smooth out and that life normalizes for you soon.
Good to finally hear that you're somewhat alright and most importantly, are still here! I hope you'll have a wonderful year and all the hardships will go right by, and don't rush yourself on our behalf, while we really want the story to continue, it's not worth your health at all. Stay safe, hydrated, and most of all, happy.
