I'm not sure how much I like making blog posts that just say "don't worry, Friendship Is Absurd is still being worked on!" but I figure that I should at least tell people that it is being worked on, as without that they have no communication. Actually, the final chapter is mostly done, with me being on the "wrap-up" of the plot, which is unfortunately proving difficult to put together. Some rewriting is also going to be necessary to fix some things.
I feel pretty bad for it taking so long, with me missing several dates that seem like they would've been great times to conclude the series. I don't want to give any estimates or timetables, though, for fear of disappointing people if it doesn't come out. All I can say is that yes, it is coming along, although slowly.
It's not for nothing that it's taking so long, though. In terms of word count, this final section of the story is looking like it'll be the longest chapter of Friendship Is Absurd, even if we count the "multi-part" chapters as a single chapter.
