New Chapter! and Name Change · 2:25am Mar 3rd, 2021
Just posted a new chapter of History Reimagined. That means it's Obligatory Not-Dead Post time again. 
First up, I changed my name from 007Ben to Punbug because 1) I've been gradually viewing my ponysona as a changeling, and 2) I love a good pun. This change isn't new (I've had the nickname on Discord for a while now), but it is new to FimFiction. You probably know me as that guy who wrote the Season Five Finale alt universe story History Lesson and its sequel History Reimagined, though I've also got an unfinished Star Wars: The Clone Wars story as well as a Hearth's Warming Eve story with some crystal ponies.
As for my current main project, History Remiagined, I am proud to announce that Act I is finally complete! It's a milestone I thought I would hit years ago, and... that's more than a little depressing. I wanted to be so much further along by now than I am, but I'm not ready to abandon this story and this universe I've created. I've got a rough outline of Act II, and I've had the next big plot point planned out for a long time now. I've even had several hundred words of the new chapter already typed up for... geez I don't know... months? A year? Maybe longer. So now that's where my main focus in writing will be now.
More chapters are coming, I promise. I'm afraid to give a timeframe because I'm afraid those promises will just be broken, like all my other promises. But I'm still here, still writing. I hope you'll stay with me for the ride, and I don't take any of you for granted.
I'm perfectly fine with the long waits. Take all the time you need. I'm looking forward to it.
That's why we have notifications on! Though our personal chapter update backlog is in the thousands, we'll try to bump this up to the top of the queue. I😘
