I mean, on the bright side, pony has never made much sense; that's one of the reasons it's so ficable.
Actually, wait, I have something serious to say. Like, Pony never has made sense, especially as it journeyed from 'cute little slice of life show' to 'epic fantasy'. Which means there's a lot for a fanfic writer to do.1 This is why you don't see me writing things for Breaking Bad or Bojack, because those stories are pretty much completely perfect. Like even El Caminio, I'm like, 'this is going to be a cash in' but no, it was an essential part of the universe and pretty great. 2 I've considered writing Star Wars fic because that series is so broken; like it goes from cinematic classic to utter shit rapidly and without warning. Like, can we have three halfways decent movies in a row? Also where the fuck is my Yuuzahn Vong trilogy? Do it, you cowards.
Anyway, where was I? Why don't I write that Star Wars fic? Oh, yes. Star Wars fans are scary and never happy with anything. Like. A million times worse than bronies. Y'all worry me sometimes but you can be positive, too.3
I have a very hard time keeping a coherent thought in my head. How do I write stories? Did I have a point? Oh, yes. Like in that one episode that was terrible except it had Toola Roola in it; it is the flaws in a show that make it good for writing fan fiction.

1 I mean, besides write porn. Obviously we do that.
2 I still haven't finished Better Call Saul; I'd say 'no spoilers' 
but at this point I have no excuse.

As long as jackasses like me will fork over money for anything with a Star Wars logo on it, I'm afraid it might work quite well.
Because I do like literally all the Star Wars (though the prequels drag so) but dang if I'm also like 'this could be so much more.'
Problem here is that the meme isn't really the case as anyone who tried would still be subject to the natural pushback that kind of thing tends to get WITHOUT magic ice wraiths coming in. Last I checked, the people you hated had a say in whether or not your endless hatred of them would be tolerated or have any teeth or real world consequences aside from scowling and the odd name calling.
