Looking Glass illustrations decided on!

So I figured out what scenes to illustrate in Looking Glass! Click the read more to see which scenes I'm going to illustrate, and don't click the read more if you want to be surprised when reading the book lol

First though, shout out toapplejackofalltrades, who reread the whole story just to make a list of scenes that would do well illustrated; thedarkprep and The Scarlett Mare, who went through the list with me in a voice call and helped me figure out which scenes from it would be the most worthwhile; and those of my followers here and people in my Discord server that offered suggestions for what scenes they'd like to see

Now, the list. All scenes are in chronological order.

1. Little human Sunset looking at herself in the orphanage mirror, lifting her arm
2. Sunset and Sugar Breeze fighting over the toy horse
3. Applejack and Sunset in the treehouse (this is already commissioned)
4. Sunset going through the filing cabinet in Crystal Clear’s office -OR- Sunset and Rose Petal singing on the way to the meeting with him
5. Sunset sitting on her bed, looking down at the journal, tears in her eyes
6. Sunset and Summer Rain looking at Applejack from the bus window
7. The snowball fight between Applejack and Sunset (this is already commissioned)
8. Sunset getting to CHS and like collapsing in front of the statue
9. Sunset meeting the girls for the first time? Something from this chapter...
10. Sunset and Flash drinking at the tree
11. Sunset meeting Twilight after going through the mirror
12. Sunset intimidating Shy in the hallway before Flash intervenes
13. Sunset with her bike on the ground, kneeling down and screaming in the woods
14. Sunset setting the library on fire
15. Celestia letting the sunset burn amber, red, and yellow as she stands on her balcony looking at it
16. The ash path (the most requested scene)
17. Sunset facing her literal inner demon in the lycoris field
18. Sunset hand in hand with Applejack, standing in front of sugarcube corner like clad in her wondercolts sweater

I still need artist suggestions if y'all have any. This is a lot of scenes (one for most chapters of the book), and I want to involve many artists in this project. I've already commissioned Incendiaryboobs and spacerocks, and I'm planning on asking Pasu, Adgerelli, VerumTee, applejackofalltrades, coiris, and Overlordneon. I can of course use artists multiple times, but this is eight artists for eighteen pictures. I'd be interested in hearing some other artist suggestions, is all!

I like the idea of Sunset going through the filing cabinet for #4. That was a really intense scene.

I have no suggestions for artists, I'm really bad at commissioning them. :C

Even though I reread the story, made that thick list and already knew what scenes you chose, I still got excited when I reread them here. God, I definitely will have no excuse not to buy this print version of LG when it's ready >:)

As for artists, I don't know of many that have commissions open right now that might be up for something like this but I'll definitely keep an eye out and let you know if I notice anyone >~<

Lol I've got one vote for each now then. I'm kinda leaning towards Rose just because there's no other pictures of her in the plans. And no worries about artists, I'll figure something out

Considering you've already got four illustrations in the book (the two from Looking Glass and the two from Breaking the Ice) and are likely to have at least a fifth? I expect you'll want the book almost as much as me And yeah lemme know if you find anyone doing coms that you think would be a good fit!
