Favorite Trixie moments in fanfiction

Ok, let me get this out of the way...I was not always a fan of the Great and powerful Trixie. I just saw her as an antagonist and a small bit character in comparison to the other cool girls. I liked the photos of her on EQD and would laugh at Seth's fasincation with her. But I never bought into the love for her for most of the first year of this show (please note, I have been a fan since this show first premired on the Hub back on Saturday on OCT 210, back when EQD never existed, the tropes page was just a small folder on the MLP section, and the best place to read pony fics was on fanfiction.net) I ust never saw why we the people loved the unicorn. So what changed?

Two words; Pony POV. I got to the chapter where Twilight helped the filly and cure her from discording. I watched and saw some excellent character development fir her, a great reason for why she wanted to be the greatest pony out there. I saw a source of great character potential and a great character just waiting in the wings.and well...I got hooked on her. I began to enjoy fics where she popped up and enjoy the different variations-from the redemption seeking pony to the vile revenge seeking one (my favorite is either: redeemer or rival that is beneath the young heroine's notice) Heck, I even have a Sailor moon/Pony crossover where Trixie makes an appearence as anatognist in a manner not unlike what is going to happen in the recent eppisode and another fanfic where she is forced to work with the young mage.

Now, we are at the precipice of the new eppie, the great and powerful has returned. Some people's fannon will be ruined, others supported. As for me, its not going to affect me at all. Getting back on your hooves will still be the closest you can get to a pony movie for the time being, Empty Room will still be great, Pony POV is still awesome, Moonstone cup will still be one of my fave fics to read, and the ask twixie blog will still be sweet and tender to me. You see, I never let what happens in the show affect my love for certain fics (for example, as a Power ranger fan, Kim and Tommy never got together in the show, but I love 'always a Ranger' because it was a great story and that one basically took cannon and said "flip it), because the stories that are on there. The excitement that I felt when I read certain parts and the love I had recieved from seeing those tender moments will NEVER fade Wich is why I made this list, because I want to remember my fave moments with my little show runner. Also to remincense

I am going to try and keep this list to one story per moment
(in particular order but numbered because I like numbers!)

5. The Empty Room (Wanderer D) coming back strong- In here, we see the young mare die, but that is not the moment. The moment comes when she, out of sheer arrogance and rage, basically tells the gods "Buzz off" and wills herself into the spirit realm. It is somehow both sheerly awesome and yet so hilarious at the same time.

4. Trixie saving everypony indirectly- Getting back on your Hooves: Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you checker monarch...an ahole. The best way to handle said ahole is to find a way to break her spell and turn her against herself. This is what Trixie did here, a cool trick that I great approve of, and helped show of that Trixie had some knowledge that even Twily didnt have just yet and also helped to show just what it is that made her unique.

3. Trixie's reharmonization- Pony POV Alex Warlorn- This is what helped me love the gal and at the same time, made her awesome. It helped to show just how she is determined to become special in a group of ponies that are the same.

2. Nuking your insane mother- The greatest gift: Webcomic I know, but still a fic. I love this moment, it shows an important lesson- Dont mess with a pregnant woman! Also I just love how Trixie gets over her troubles with her mother and pushes through.

1. Last minute save- Moonstone cup: I wanted to put down, the entire time Trixie is in this fic but I couldnt. It is here that we see Trixie being a badass and saving everypony with an awesome sheild spell and shows that she so totally could be Luna's student.
