Hey, guys. Here is my review of the third movie of the trilogy: Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. This is my absolute favorite film of the entire series and an epic conclusion of the trilogy... I think. If they ever make a fourth film like what Pixar had done for the Toy Story franchise, I hope it will be a wonderfully, well-written epilogue film like Toy Story 4. Anyway, this was a definite blast with tons of entertaining fun as well as an all-round adventure. Ben Stiller and the others still did an amazing job reprising their characters and just having fun through all this.

It was really surprising to see the gang finally come back home to New York City after so long of being in Madagascar and in Africa. But while they were seeking to return back home, a series of circumstances took them to parts of Europe where they encounter new characters and new villains. I honestly love the way they had Alex develop his relationship with these circus animals during his time with them. It was rough at first, and just like how Flik had to deal with the circus bugs from A Bug’s Life, Alex had to use dishonesty to reach his end which ultimately resulted in hurt feelings. Thus, our lion had to genuinely rekindle friendship once he learned his lesson. Character development means everything!!

Ever since I first watched this beautiful badass, she instantly became one of my favorite DreamWorks villains of all time. DuBois was absolutely a complete menacing antagonist who posed the greatest threat than the previous antagonists ever could. She sought to kill Alex in the most painful way possible to gain his head as a trophy with such ferocious determination, cunning, and intelligence. She is literally an invincible force of nature with no regards to the laws of physics and constantly made logic itself her bitch. I wonder if she could stand up to Thanos and Megatron... or to Darth Vader himself.

As a matter of fact, she actually did stand up to Sentinel Prime at one point in time. Did you know that? She was even allies with Sam Wickwicky a year before this movie came out and was also familiar with Agent Simmons. So you can thank Frances McDormand for wonderfully voicing her in this film and playing that character in TF3.

The animation is great, the soundtrack is spot on, the characters were amazing, the story was written well, the comedy is perfection, the voice acting is good, and the action scenes with DuBois were terrific! Although, I was actually kinda hoping Alex’s parents would reappear in this film because I really enjoyed watching them from the last movie, and I really wanted to see them again. To my disappointment, they weren’t in the film. Oh well, at least we have the second movie for that. So yes, this movie is my favorite, and this trilogy is awesome. I would definitely recommend this movie and this series to anyone. Just like with Secret of the Tomb, it gets a 12/10!

Welp, that’s it for the reviewing of my favorite trilogies... for now. Let’s all MOVE IT! MOVE IT!

They'll be expecting a Penguins review. It may not be the fourth, but it's the same universe (and I think canon? Idk)

That lady was insane. But it was funny what Skipper did to her and her men.

I agree with you on this.

Not only was this movie the best in the Madagascar film series, but it was a wonderful conclusion for Alex and company. I really can’t understand why people say that the second film should’ve been the conclusion and that Alex and company should’ve stayed in Africa, because when it comes to knowing what the right place and home for them would be...the circus is the place.

When can you review the 2014 Penguins of Madagascar film?

There are people who actually say that? I’m surprised! :pinkiegasp:

Most likely at the end of the month since there are several MCU films I want to review first.
