Of course I bid you all welcome!

Sorry, lol. I was just being a complete goof with the title, to be honest.

So how is everyone? I hope you're doing well, doing good and having a blast wherever you all may be!

    Is this reality? Or...

    Howdy folks!

It's always good to see your cute, adorable faces when I write here. Love seeing you guys!

However, I am utterly shattered. Exhausted. Pooped. Tired. Sleepy.

Is this the real life? Or is this fantasy?

What a terrible start... · 10:49pm Jan 14th, 2021

Hey loves, it's been awhile from my last blog. Not the longest mind you, but long enough for an update.

I've just had the most incredible start to my 2021 year and yes, I have managed to somehow get Covid-19. I know you guys come online here to have fun reading stories and whatnot and you don't want read my drivel etc. But I figured, I just want to say something and get it off my chest so-to-speak, in a manner. I can't believe I got this stupid virus.

It's not like the typical flu/cold virus, I haven't had any congestion issues whatsoever. I'm just tired as fuck most of the time, hard breathing and fever/sweats. But it's been a week since I contracted the virus and I am feeling alot better since, but I'm still getting over it. I feel so fatigued? Is that normal? I mean, I can't even hit work because of it. I feel that I'm not exactly fit enough to return to my workplace, atleast not yet, y'know?

Tell me if fatigue is considered normal. I want other opinions besides the usual cookie-cutter websites.

Anyway, I want to hear about you guys. What's going on my loves? I hope you guys have had a much better start to your year than me atleast. Let me know in the comments below what you've been doing. I'm really curious! Also, I'm really sorry about the lack of story-work going up here for you guys. I will get something up when I can. I know I keep saying this, but I didn't expect Covid of all things, fuck my life.

Let me know guys!

Also do remember, I love ya's and appreciate your hanging around and being cool! All my love!

I appreciate all you guys, I hope you all know this. Thanks ShadowFire!

I hope things can improve for you!

I managed to get myself a new job...a day before I started feeling sick, because of course. I’m thinking it’s a sinus infection, just intense nasal congestion. I used to get them every year or two, but haven’t had any in a while after being on a consistent multivitamin. But I ran out and hadn’t got one in over a months since it’s pricey.

Damn, I'm sorry you had such a shitty start this year! Rest up!

:twilightoops: Oh no! That's a terrible way to start the new year, Fabulosity!

To answer your question, I had Covid back in October, and fatigue was one of my main symptoms, with a temporary loss of smell and a small fever for a few days. The fatigue lasted a bit over a week. The only lingering effect is not being as sensitive to certain smells, but it seems to be improving as the months go by. On the bright side, it's hard to tell how stinky my farts are. :rainbowlaugh:

To answer your second question, I have been too busy to read much the past few months because I just bought my own condo and have also been helping my parents prep to sell their place. I have also been working a lot of overtime the past few months due to the holiday season. On average, it works out to 6 days a week and 10 hours a day.

I hope you get well soon! Also, we don't hold anything against you for not writing much in the past few weeks. The holidays are usually super busy for many people.

Nice going on the new job, that's awesome! And yeah, vitamins the good quality ones can be pretty expensive. But you gotta remember, health before wealth! Keep in there!

I will Tilfy! Thanks for checking in on me, I super appreciate it as always! I'll do my best! :twilightsheepish:

Hey RD, thanks for the information! It's good to know that I'm not the only one who suffered from the fatigue issues, thanks for that! Also, you're own condo? Damn! Nice work. And I'll do my best regarding the stories, might need abit more time but yeah the holidays is usually super busy for everyone. Even the new year too I guess! Just don't overwork yourself, okay? :raritywink:

 I'll try not to. My supervisor is trying to hire more qualified people for my shift. It stinks having a staffing shortage.

5436601
Yeah, it's a total mess right now. The whole thing is up the river without a paddle it seems. I hope things hang in there for ya.
