My analysis: Both versions are great, yet the 10-year-old me and the now 23-year-old me are of completely different mindsets. As a 10 year old girl: "This song gets it! Gosh boys are the worst! I'll never have another boyfriend again! I love this song! Definitely going on my mp3 player!"
As a 23 year old adult: "Damn, this song still gets it! Men and boys can be jerks, but at times can be sweet. Did NOT expect a explicit version, but we knew what words went where originally. God TikTok is gonna eat this alive...*sigh*. Still love this song and both ladies' voices have matured gracefully! Aaand add to Apple Music!"
