Happy New Year everyone, here's an update on my stories · 4:38am Jan 2nd, 2021
Hi, everyone, happy New Year. I know I've been very innactive this 2020 and I would like to apologize for not posting many stories (6 chapters at best) and while I would like to blame this passing year for that, it doesn't excuse my fault of not giving you anything.
I also won't go into details of how the year 2020 has been "showing its kindness" to me, all I'll say is that I still live in Venezuela and the coronavirus destroyed what little there was to destroy (and I may be forced to get the Russian vaccine) and I won't go more into that.
Regarding the stories (what I think you care about the most) all I'll say is that I'll keep on posting on "The Redemption of a Never Ending Ambition" as always, with the next chapter already written, but I'll also try to write more chapters on my other stories, mainly "The Fractured Unity" and "Legacy of Kain: Harmony's Rise" and I promise you'll have at least one chapter for each story this year, and I'll try to write more stories if possible.
Yes, for those who like to read them, I'll also try to write another halloween story featuring Venezuelan ghost but, I'm curious, did you like my attempt of making a story featuring Christianity and, regardless of it, do you think I should try to make it better? Curious.
And, as of now, I'm writing the next chapter of "The Fractured Unity" and, after posting it, I'll reread the story to see what I can iron out. I've been told that there are problems with the story and I want to fix any plot hole before moving forward. For now, I hope you enjoy this part of the next chapter, and take a guess of what will I delete:
"It looks like you have stepped up your game, old friend" -. Said Anidis in respect of the changeling princess that thought the best strategy to beat her on board games was by sending the drones to the end of the board and turn them into elites, instead of using sleeper agent or other, more effective, changeling tactics. - "But, that won't be enough, I came prepared for such scenarios. I plan on joining the council and, no matter how much you try to increase your military, they'll never be match to the weaponry I got from the place I was hiding from."
She then heard a knowck on the door, once she allowed the interruption, a multicolored guard, wearing a golden armor with a cross emblazzoned on his chest, opened the door of the throne room.
"My queen" -. Said the guard with green grapey eyes, sky blue head and purple legs. - "Your sister would like to have a talk with you. She has concerns about you and the equestrian host you brought with us."
Anidis nodded as she heard this, no evil on her face and no sign of being bothered by the news.
"Do bring her in, I would like to talk to her of recent developments I have heard from our contacts in Equestria and the changelings."
The guard nodded before closing the door. He tried to avoid looking at Anidis, but the queen could see the worries on his eyes as Anidis muttered to herself.
"My dear sister, your worries may be on the right place, but we must not stop until all the queens that destroyed our life face their proper judgement" -. She then looked at the door as the doors started to open and she saw the silluette of her sister entering the room. - "Dear sister" -, she then said loud enough for her to hear, - "please tell me what brings you here."
Anidis' sister entered the room as her calm and kind, but still loud enough, voice started to take over the room.
"Dear sister, I've come to me that you just returned from Canterlot and I wanted to check on you, are you alright?"
Anidis smiled as she nodded to her.
"Indeed, nothing wrong happened to me, in fact, I dare to say the fresh air may have been good for my health. I even had time to make some contacs I left in Equestria long ago."
Her sister flinched as she heard that.
"Sister" -, she said, - "are you really sure it's a good idea to try and take over Equestria? Your friend looks like to be trying to have peaceful relations with them, perhaps we would be more accepted if we tried to-"
"There's no need to worry" -, interrupted Anidis, starting to get tired of her sister trying to dissuade her of fulfilling her revenge, - "I know very well what I'm doing and I'll make sure that we come on top of this."
Anidis could see in her sisters' eyes what was worrying her but she didn't want to talk about it, probably for the better, she had no interest in hearing concerns over things that she couldn't control.
As for "Legacy of Kain: Harmony's Rise", while I haven't started to write, I do have plan on updating it, it's one of the five stories I plan to write here and I do plan to finish it.
I don't know what else I could add, so I'll end wishing you all a happy holidays with your loved ones and may you have all your projects fulfilled, may God bless you and give you what you need.
Bye.
EDIT: For those interested, here's the link to my first blog post where I mention story ideas I have but am yet to write.
