The new year. And an Artpack

Is it alright to forget a cycle? To wipe it from memory and continue as if nothing had happened. Perhaps it would not matter. Though, what is there to be learned from an empty spot in the mind? If we were to forget a year, then thoughts of our reasoning would plague our future selves, without possibility of grasping the cause to our decision. From where we once stood, we would regress. Instead, we apply what we weathered, despite the hardships.
Unless, we have no choice in the matter.
