How Many Times Does Trixie Actually Say "I"?

One of Trixie's best-known traits in the fandom is that she speaks in the third person all the time. But does she really? Turns out, no one has ever counted the times she says "I." Until now...

Reference/Inspiration List for "Where Black Seas Lap the Shores of Dead Stars"

Rather than litter the author's notes with references in my usual style, I thought I'd try something a little different. So, for the curious, I've made a separate blog post of all the references and allusions you might have missed!

Hat Man Reviews: "Haze" by Bandy!

Haze is a story that is filled with big ideas: Cloud empires. Flying earth ponies. Ancient religions. Superpower-inducing fungi. Unfortunately, much like the mushroom-munching ponies in this story, this story might be biting off more than it can handle…

Holiday Cheer! · 11:09am Dec 22nd, 2020

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've uploaded some things, but I've got some good news! For one, I've participated in some speedwrites lately with the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting group, so I've got a few fun one-shots waiting in the wings. The other is that I'm working on my annual holiday-themed story (though it may not release on Xmas day this year. And it just might feature a certain mechanical pony who's been curiously absent for a while. :raritywink: See you soon, and have a wonderful holiday season!

And to you as well!
Nice avatar, by the way!

Thanks. :)
It took a bit of convincing for me to accept it, but iisaw gave me a very generous gift of custom art for a new avatar, and that's it. :)
(Well, the version of it with the santa hat on; I do also have one without for the rest of the year. :D)

That's awesome! Honestly, you deserve a custom avatar given all your contributions to me and others.

Oh, well, thank you. :)
And I believe that was something of the sentiment, yes (though I didn't ask in detail at the time that I recall). :)

(The conversation that led to it was in the comments of something, so presumably is not only still there but publicly accessible... but while I've an idea where to start looking, I'm quite low on time at the moment, and the uncertainty doesn't seem great enough to bother. Whatever the particular reason, though, I consider it a nice gift. :))
