    Definitely ded

Pretty sure I've become so terrible at catching up with pony stuff that I may have dropped out of the literary fandom. For those interested, I just have such an awful attention span that I was torn from pony things by other, shinier things, i.e. actually becoming a decent example of a human being and interacting with physical bodies rather than the amazing digital personas I've come to know and

    Writin' Stories

Words is hard. Especially when you realize that real life should take precedence over ponies (Scandalous!), and suddenly you never spend more than 10 minutes just staring blankly at your gDocs story chapter. That's been me for the past few days.

    Readin' Stories

I don't know about you guys, but I haven't been reading too many fics lately. I've either been messing around on the internet, working on outlines, or just playing games. The only things I have been reading are the updates for all of my favorites; none of the featured stories and not even some of the new Twidash! ME! NOT READING TWIDASH!

    You are following me.... Why?

Sure, we've talked a bit in chat, but come on! Certainly it takes more than just a sharp wit and excellent humor to make someone follow you? Like... stories? But thanks all the same; you have helped me garner that much more self-confidence, and possibly influenced me to eventually share my own pony words with others.

If that doesn't go over well, however...

Why do I keep changing this even though nobody follows me? · 7:05pm Nov 28th, 2012

Once upon a time, I said that I had decided to start a story of my own... at this point, I still haven't even finished deciding on character interactions or even the outline of the first chapter. That was a little over 2 months ago. Now I can no longer complain about some of the authors that I read taking a long time for seemingly short chapters. I also wonder just how much time and thought goes into actual novels, those things are several hundred pages long, follow X different viewpoints at once, and still have to follow one single storyline the entire way through. Making everything tie together at the end is surprisingly difficult, because when you think of one idea, it deviates or detracts from some key component of the main story and you're forced to discard it, lest you go back and be forced to change your story to fit your new idea. And why would anyone want to do that?
