Possible Howlite Howler Ret-con · 3:21pm Dec 11th, 2020
Hello my wonderful readers,
So, I've been re-reading Howlite Howler, and I still feel like it could use some revision, especially around when Beast Breaker has Shiva in his custody.
In the novel that I've been adapting from Howlite Howler's plot, Shiva is put into a fighting pit similar to in Jack London's 'White Fang,' and I'm wondering if I should revise Howlite Howler so that Beast Breaker does the same as Beauty Smith, with Shiva breaking out after some pony kidnaps Spike and tries to put him into the fighting pit as well.
I know I'm already stretching things by having ponies intentionally capture non-ponies for nefarious means, but would it be stretching it too far to have them make a fighting pit where they can make non-ponies fight each other?
You guys have been loyally reading my story, so I'd love to hear your feedback. Would a fighting pit work in making Shiva distrust the ponies? Or am I worrying too much over something that's already been written?
I'd really appreciate your feedback. Thank you again for all your help and support, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again.
It made me dislike them, so you are doing correctly.
I agree

Thank you both for your feedback. I made the revisions, and I feel it works much better for why Shiva doesn't like the ponies.
Thank you again, and I look forward to sharing the next chapters of my stories.
Until next time.
there is ample evidence that ponies can and have been jerks and evil though there is the theme of unicorns being struck with evilisitis more often than the other two races so the rich ponies could be mostly unicorns and people may find that more believable though this is just my opinion

Thanks for your feedback.
I've noticed that as well; unicorns are often more smug or are more likely to act superior to everyone else. I'm wondering if it's because of the power that comes with being natural mages; when you're able to solve most problems with a flash of your horn, you'd probably be a little overconfident or assured in your own superiority. Even Twilight's fallen into that attitude, like in Baby Cakes, where she made Pinkie assume that she 'expected' her to fail and was overall very condescending with her attitude.
Heh, it's funny; one of Shiva's main goals is teaching ponies - especially unicorns - that they aren't as superior as they think they are.
Thanks again for your feedback. Hope I didn't go on too much of a tangent.
