It's Looking Like I Made The Right Choice · 3:41am Dec 10th, 2020
This is going to be a very entertaining second half of the week.
The opening hours of Cyberpunk 2077's launch is an absolute dumpster fire. Optimization is all over the place, even for overkill rigs, for some players the system requirements are an outright lie, Gamespot's new review is crammed with spoilers, and last but certainly not least, we've got nipples and dicks clipping through clothes on the character creation screen.
CDPR, Witcher 3 is amazing and genre-defining and all, and I know you've already committed to a string of free DLCs for this one, but if you thought a three-week delay was going to be enough time to QA all these separate versions of the game, then y'all are some goddamn motherfucking morons.
A lot of players are wondering why a game in development this long (eight years since the teaser) could be like this, but I'm inclined to believe that it's more along the lines of six years of concept, and two years of crunch.
So I'll be over here enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn in stunning ultrawide.
Cyberpunk will likely be axed from my Top Games of 2020, and it'll still be there, and more stable, a few months down the road.
...I just want to customize a dick.

From the spoiler-free review I watched, I believe you have the option of Penis 1 and Penis 2.
I cannot confirm the existence of further penis options.
I... what?
And here I am bouncing between Luigi's Mansion 3 and Nioh.
Wait... that wasn't a selling point?
I've played a couple of hours and haven't encountered any major issues myself. On my RTX 2060, I hit around 30-45fps with Ray Tracing on, which is fine as the game runs smooth enough and I can't imagine playing without Ray Tracing.
Yeah, I believe it'll be great once they patch out some flaws. This is one of the flaws of making games for two generations
I don't trust in any product that crossed the finish line through crunching it's people. Exploitation does not create a careful and studious environment.
Guess it's good that I can't afford it. Oh well, gives me time to catch up on my backlog. Just Platinumed Persona 5 Royal so I gotta get back into Warframe's new update. Thanks for the heads-up, dude.
tis a shame, but it is likely going to get better--I've heard Witcher was this way too when it released.

If that’s true, you’d think they’d have learned a lesson on that since then.

fair. but CDPR has a huge fanbase and they trust them to do the right thing.

That doesn't sound like a guarantee of quality, that feels more like a length of leash they keep tripping over. We saw what happened to Bethesda with THEIR fanbase that kept flocking to their buggy games.

that might be true, but CDPR is releasing a lot of hotfixes and it's only been a couple days since the game was released. They just dumped another one last night
