About Two Worlds Collide

Okay, I don't like to bog my story down with author's notes, but I hear that's what these blog posts are for, right? Giving updates and insight about your stories? (Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong)

Okay, so I think it only fair to you readers to tell you that 'Two Worlds Collide' is writing exercise, so to speak. My warm up story and my way of giving myself writing challenges/exercises. I've designed it with a strong beginning and a definite end, but I can drag it out for as long as I need/want to. Once the ball gets rolling, it'll take on a more 'episodic' nature with each new mission that Zecora assigns them. I have ideas, but I am intentionally avoiding any overplanting. That's not to say I don't have anything planed, but I kinda want to go with the flow on this one so I don't get hung up on certain things.

Most stories I write are much better developed. I also usually write them out for at least several chapters before posting the first one. Once I'm at that point, my other stories will become available and hopefully have a regular update schedule, but that's not what 'Two Worlds Collide' is for. Really and truly, this is my sit-down-and-just-write-for-fifteen-minutes-before-schoolwork story. I still want to do a nice job with it, but it wont be the best showcase of my work.

Do I have other stories planned? Yes!

I've got an animatic called Little Loyalty well into development, for one thing, and when it's out I'll give a like for those who are interested.

Songbirds is a more entry-like story involving one of the sirens and one of the rainbooms. (Not a romance story.) This will show a slow reformation over the course of their encounters. More on this story later, when it's closer to coming out.

And finally, the one I'm most looking forward to publishing on here is the AU where they're all wolves. Because I can do that on here. No, seriously, I'm not joking. WolfLore takes the characters we know and puts them in a harsher world and social system without going too far in the 'dark' territory. Plus, wolves are fun to write.
