The Amazing Sunset Shimmer Volume I: Postscript · 10:36am Dec 1st, 2020
Hi, welcome on this postscript for the first volume of ASS (The Amazing Sunset Shimmer, don't get me wrong)
I really hope you like this volume, i know it must've been hard to get into it because of my bad english but
i swear i'm trying to do my best here, because i love to write this story.
There's some points i want to talk about real quick but don't worry. Nothing will spoil chapter 10 because the true last chapter
is chapter 9, chapter 10 is just an epilogue.
1. Let's talk about Red Light
Most of you must wonder where did he come from, and i'm sure some of you don't like this character.
After all, he's coming from nowhere. But i must admit that i really like this character.
The truth is, i wanted an OC who already had a story and already have lived his own adventures.
He will serve me to connect several stories between them, but I will address this in a future point.
And, truth to be told, i'm trying to make him a bit like me.
This fanfiction is really important to me because i have a bad habit of starting a lot of things,
end never ending them. In my professional and private life.
It's a real problem of mine, this fiction is close to my heart because i want to prove, mostly to myself,
that i can begin something AND finish it.
So, i'm trying to to pass this flaw in Red.
I'm a lonely person, but this does not prevent the fact that i've made a group of friends really
close to me. I consider them as my family.
These persons showed me than friendship is fucking beautiful.
That is why Red is becoming friend with the mane 7.
Also, when i first started to right this, Red was going to be Sunset's love interest.
I quickly dropped that idea. The fact that my character is the lover of the protagonist
didn't felt... right.
I don't want this character to be the center of all the attention, the story is based on Sunset and Twilight after all.
And if you think this character is too highlighted, don't hesitate to tell me.
That said, as you've all noticed, Red is starting a romance with Rainbow Dash.
It's just a little fantasy from me. I'm not the biggest Rainbow Dash fan in the world,
but given the writing of the two characters, it seems like a logical outcome to me that those two
starts a relationship.
And i also wanted him to have a love story, so fuck it, i do what i want.
2. The Main 7
Of course, the most important of them is Twilight, she's like the second protagonist of the story.
She'll be a great help for Sunset.
I've also got some plans for Rainbow Dash. She'll become more important later, and in another story, you'll see.
I'm just tossed up about Rarity. I've got a lot of ideas but none of them is
satisfying me enough for the moment, and i don't want to rush.
Just keep an eye on Fluttershy. You'll see, eheh. It'll be funny.
Pinkie's goal is to lighten up the mood, don't expect something too serious from her.
And finally, Applejack
I've got a big problem with her. I love Applejack, a lot.
But i absolutly have NO IDEA for her, and it's a shame because Applejack is so cool.
I've got more plans for Applebloom that her to be honest...
3. Celestia's death
Well, that was something complicated.
This is the first time I've tried to write a strong and "emotional" moment, and honestly,
I don't think i've been very successful. Tell me what you think of it.
I didn't want her to die at the begining like Uncle Ben. I wanted to make her important,
for you and for Sunset.
But the most difficult part was to make a logical development for Luna.
I thought at first that she'll had depression or something like that but,
i told myself that it wouldn't fit the character.
She'll act like Aunt May but more like a big sister than a mother.
4. What's next?
Well as you saw, this isn't over.
Not yet. Sunset did have beaten the Vulture and the Shocker,
But there's still some villain in the city.
It's not a spoiler from me to tell you that the first villain of the second
Volume is the Lizard. I'm pretty excited because he's one of my favorite
nemesis of spider-man.
There will be also a lot of character in this second volume, i can list some of them like:
Black Cat, the Vulture, Electro,
the Green Goblin, Sandman, Iron Man,
Kraven and one i'm so glad to tease you about... the Ghostrider.
You'll see some cool shit too like, Sunset new hero Suit, but also new super-heroes,
new super-villains, more slice of life and... the symbiotic costume.
Of course that's not all of it, i don't want to spoil you anything.
This volume will be twice, or maybe thrice, longer than the first one,
and i will try to be more ponctual on the release of the chapters.
I'll get ahead and write several chapters before i start posting them.

I'm not giving you any indication on when the first chapter will be out because...
i don't know.
I also want to talk to you about two other stories i'm working on:
Queenslayer: The Endless Night
A story inspired on Game of Thrones, The Witcher and The Elder Scrolls. (Inspired, not a crossover or anything like that)
I'll talk more about it in another post.
Rise of the Ghostrider: A ride with the Devil
A short story in one volume that will take place in the EGFU (Equestria Girls Fiction Universe) to introduce him/her.
He/She will be a recurrent character in other fictions.
Well, i was glad to talk to you, if you have ANY questions to ask me, don't hesitate.

(Queenslaye doesn't take place in that universe)

cant wait for chapter 10, Sunset's new suits (hero and symbiote), and the second volume!
Well, let see who this could canonically be based from the MLP universe.
I feel like Trixie could be a good fit, although it might not work as I have not read A.S.S. yet (boy that felt weird to type) and I dunno if you're using her yet.
I just did some research on Ghostrider and there are so many different versions I can't put together a good something for any of them. But, personally, I would probably go with Big Mac. That might be fun to go with.
Also, Ghostrider in the Marvel Universe helped Spiderman defeat Hobgoblin, so you might wanna consider that.
