The future of Equestria in Silent Wings

The jist of Silent Wings is that because Gallus and Silverstream are deaf, the Student Six don’t become friends by the time “The Hearth’s Warming Club” happens. When people asked me in the comments what this would mean for the fate of Equestria, I originally said that I hadn’t put much thought into it besides “Equestria isn’t doomed”.

However, I’ve been thinking about this over the past few days. Originally, I wanted a subplot where Terramar and Gallus both befriend Sandbar, and they “get the band together” in a longer way, but I cut it for time. You can imagine that something like that happens after the ending if you want.
