Finally made it to Babscon

What a long strange trip it's been. This is much harder to do on the fly with a disabled girlfriend than flying solo. How did I learn of this? While doing my driving job, I was listening to a radio segment about early environmental battles and apparently one of the first big ones in the 70s was an effort to stop strip mining on a Storm King Mountain in Appalachia. I’m guessing it wasn’t successful given that there are no Appalachian mountains on this list.
