    A polite notice.

Despite how long its been since I posted anything here - and, to be honest, have caught up on anything here - it still amazes me to get email notifications that somebody liked or commented on MMO, or that I still get PMs asking about a sequel.

I'm sure you can all sense the 'but' there.

    A small status update

Just a quick status update - chapters 1 through 16 of 20 proof-read; Work has been a bear for a while, but my schedule is finally getting to something where I can actually think about working on writing again. Not going to make any guesses on completion dates since they seem to be jinxed.

The Good, The Bad, and the Other

First, the good news - I'm back on the grid after three months! Trip went a little longer than expected, but I should be good for a while

Now the bad news - after that long, my backlog from RL (work and otherwise) means its going to be a while before I can get back to writing on a proper schedule.

    Scheduling Delay (A quick announcement)

Hello! Just thought it would be fair to make a quick announcement - Work is going to have me really busy from now until late September/Early October, so updates are going to be coming much slower. I'll also be without internet for extended periods of time (but that only matters to a few people here).

Despite how long its been since I posted anything here - and, to be honest, have caught up on anything here - it still amazes me to get email notifications that somebody liked or commented on MMO, or that I still get PMs asking about a sequel.

I'm sure you can all sense the 'but' there.

I don't have any plans for a proper sequel to MMO, nor any other stories likely to be posted here any time in the foreseeable future. My ideas have drifted more towards original works these days and I simply don't have enough time to chase everything.

I leave this message here so that people are not left wondering what happened to me. Many a story I've read - some on this site even - have died unfinished when their authors vanished into the aether. I figure you all would like some form of closure, at least. I know I would.

As for why now... I guess some things just tend to come to mind late at night.

Thank you again to everyone who had nice things to say about my works, everyone who took the time to point out typos, and everyone who messaged me just to tell me how much they enjoyed my story. If anyone who might want to read my other stuff, I usually post on Sufficent Velocity as 'Dragontrapper'.

Thank you again to all of my readers, as best of luck on your own endeavors.

Fair enough! You go where your muse takes you and I wish you nothing but success ;3

Or, at least not too many sleepless nights as you stare at a blank page trying to tease out those first few words of whatever your working on.

A shame would have loved a sequel to mmo, but I hope things go well for you

I can't say I'm not dissapointed, seeing as MMO is one of my favorite fics (it's genuinely amazing), but I'm very glad that you released this PSA. It's very thoughtful. Thanks for the story we received, and whatever's in the future.

It's a beautiful story, I'm not surprised people are still wondering after a sequel. Thanks for the note, I'll have to take a look at that original fiction. Be warned, I have high expectations after reading MMO.

Don't want to say the obvious, so I'll say…
See you later, and may we be friends down the road again…
