    Where's My Update

I'm sure at least some of you are wondering what happened to Shadow Within's update schedule. The answer is actually pretty straightforward: What's been posted so far was already written when I started putting the story on fimfic, and the next chapter isn't finished yet.

    Longfic Recommendations

I know you all know me as someone who only writes oneshots, but longfics are people too, and I have a couple to recommend written by some very talented people. Having preread both of these fics, I can safely say they are fantastic, and you are in for a treat.

Blindness, contrary to what Rainbow had always imagined, was not like being in a dark room.

Those who frequent Quills and Sofas know that I can be pretty demanding in my critiques. It's not often I give stories a 5/5 rating, even if they're from very proficient authors. Even when I do, it's very rare that I don't have any improvements to offer at all.

Also, if you're interested, I convinced GaPJaxie to write a review. It can be found here.

In Colour is one of those stories. It blew me away. In the words of my original comment, it is a flawless gut punch of a story, and everyone should go read it, right now.

Yeah, this one was an easy win for Seer, no doubt.

Even with the recommendation, I nearly skipped this one due to time constraints and not being sure I was in the mood. I'm glad I didn't, though; thanks. :)
