Hey, people of the Internet, or at least the peoples of Fimfiction. I’m writing this because of one specific thing:
I need help.
Seriously. Are you a writer willing to help me make sense of the ideas floating around in my head? To help me try and write fantastic stories that will be the next gem of the site?
Or are you just willing to watch as I crash and burn because I suck?
If so, I need your help with my stories. I’m probably one of the least motivated writers on the site, I come up with ideas, but I never do a follow through with writing and plot. I need help to make the fiction puzzle in my head into something other people will enjoy.
Are there any takers?

What kind of ideas?

Everything from Magic leaking into the Equestria Girls world and letting the villain counterparts become, well, supervillains, to a slow build story of how Sunset joins up with Daring Do’s Arch-Nemesis after being denied power by Celestia.
I build worlds in my head, but stories, those are harder to squeeze out. It’s a case of knowing what I want, and having the tools to do it, but not the manual on how to put it all together.

I used to have that same problem. I found that for me, having a clear and concise starting point is almost essential to a good story. What is also important is that you build off of that in a natural way. Never have your readers say, “Wait, why the hell did that happen?!” Always make it so what happens in the story is natural, or at the very least explained.
A good starting point would be to write down every little idea in your head on a piece of paper and organize them into something that makes sense, scrapping the ones that don't or saving them for another story idea. I personally love writing and don't find it hard to do, but that is only because I take the necessary steps that help me enjoy it.

Write everything down on a piece of paper? I suppose I’ll just put them all down in a story document to try and get them all sorted, but that’s not where my main issue lies. It’s fine tuning my ideas to be able to write them down. Everything collapses after a certain point, and I just have incredible difficulty getting the idea to move forward.
