Hiya faithful readers! *Imminent Wall of Text Warning*
Lemme start off by thanking anypony who has taken the time to read this or doesn't even read this but enjoyed my fics (not that they'd know 
). I know it's been a long time running and I've been getting slower with updates, but I still really appreciate those who continue to read Moonfall 
!
On to Moonfall Business. This next chapter's another heavy update, so it's likely to go under some heavy revision where necessary. It shouldn't be too far off now though! Unfortunately, once that comes about, Moonfall will be taking it's first official hiatus 
. But there's good news!
I will be taking that time to start a new story up! One that will still take place in the same universe and provide a LOT of insight into our favorite Princess' past, but no longer particularly from her perspective! "Whose eyes will it be through then?" you might be wondering. Well, I'll leave that to a surprise. I will let you know he's been around this entire time and you probably never even noticed him though! While this was intended to be a one-shot, it may actually run longer depending on framing, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

-How do you plan to intertwine the two tales together 
?
I wanted to make sure they could be taken both apart and together so I tried to be a little creative with it. Moonfall will contain a brief chapter before and after this new story is told by Luna, avoiding potential spoilers for those who don't want them, but allowing those who don't want to read another fic i wrote(
) to skip on with the more important details.

The two will essentially be half-chapters, the first a setup and the latter being a tldr and a response, but will likely not be excessively long. It's meant to be a few short scenes, but actual length is obvious still pending.

Well, someponies may have forgotten, but us authors usually began writing because it was fun for us. I'll be writing both, because it's something I've been wanting to write since the start of Moonfall and it's a story I always thought needed telling. Skipping ahead, you miss a lot of the character development and emotional understanding that will occur. That said, if you so choose to skip the supplementary fic, you may find yourself underreacting to all of the reveals. I can think of no other way to merge the two other than an underwhelming response from those who skip it. While it seems I am forcing your hoof, it's really up to you.

As I've discussed with my readers before, it is expected to have a length decent enough to be considered 'intrusive' to the main story. As such, it will take it's own form. In addition to that, I'm hoping to drum up some new attention for Moonfall as well.

As for who it is, I obviously won't say, but I'll say I haven't watched Doctor Who. I was curious about it though. Should I start from the beginning or is there an ideal season? I wasn't sure if they're all related or not.

doctor who 2005, ninth doctor if i remember correctly, is the place to start, everything else is ancient. i've not watched that much yet, but i like it.
