10 years

I really don't have any reason to be making a blog post here, especially because I'm talking to an audience of zero, but I can't let the day end without contributing something to the internet on this very important day of October 11th. Last year, I held off the inevitable sobbing by spontaneously writing some unplanned short story experiment -- sorry to everyone who was expecting something different :c -- which ended up as my meager commemoration of the day. This year, I have something much simpler (and meager-er), but I hope you find it interesting/humorous/helpful/anything-but-disappointing.

^{This is my one day of the year to be extra sentimental (and also it's the 10 year + 1 day anniversary of FIM for crying out loud) so please don't mock me.}

AfterTheEnd's special recipe for crying your eyes out:

1. Go back in time and take part in the worldwide sob party on October 11th 2019
2. Listen to this the whole time:

(or replace with similar tear-enhancer)
3. Look at all the thousands of gut-wrenching pictures flood in by the minute on derpibooru
(Caution: try not to look at that damn book for any longer than a split second)
4. Remember the day you watched FIM for the first time--
5. --and every day since that ponies made the world bright and beautiful.
Serves one. Can be repeated each year.

Recommended dessert

1. Remind yourself that it's not the end of the world just because the show has left production
2. And remember how massive this community is and its shared devotion
3. Successfully fall asleep knowing that it goes on and on

I really do apologize if you followed me from my Fluttercam story and were expecting more. I was expecting more, too, but life gets in the way of everything at the worst times. I have some more of that smut in the works, though, so hold onto your horses cause it'll release in an unknown amount of time when it's good and ready.
