UK Bronies and Pegasisters are holding a Nightmare Night Story Competition, in which the aim is to write a story featuring their new mascot, Misty, celebrating her first Nightmare Night. There are two categories of story that can be written: under 18 and over 18.
My entry fits into the latter category, and this is it.

When a mare on a mission one Nightmare Night investigates a light in a window, she gets more than she bargained for...
By the way, I know I've been quiet for a while; I've been busy with my job, doing a lot of overtime, and also trying to create content for my YouTube channel. Your support is appreciated, and I wish I could do something more to show that appreciation (such as get another burst of inspiration and write three stories in a week).
