What if the MLP Movie's climax was like this?

I know this isn't what happened in the MLP movie, but this is my alternate take on the movie's climax, making it more darker and emotional, and is inspired by "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker".
Also in this take is a character not seen in the movie, Jawn. He is an advanced storm creature who accompanies Tempest/Fizzlepop on capturing Twilight, and is deemed a close friend to her.

'Living the Future' sequel idea · 4:38pm Oct 8th, 2020

I've been thinking about doing a sequel to "My Little Pony: Living the Future", letting it be set during wintertime. And I also thought about bringing back more characters.

Plot:
Taking place one month after the events of 'Living the Future', Twilight and her friends have now settled into their new life in the new world, learning all the new things, being together and living with their future-selves. Princess Cadance, Shining Armor and a grown-up Flurry Heart all return to Ponyville to be with Twilight for Christmas, but disaster strikes when all of the presents they had for everypony have been stolen! With the help of Discord, Twilight and her friends embark on a new adventure to save the day.
