SEEKING NEW BAND MEMBERS! - Attention Fellow Punk Rockers! I'm After a BASSIST!

Hello.

Long story short, the one thing I've wanted to do and talked about for so long is to start a band of my own. A punk rock / grunge band inspired by the 1990's underground rock scene. So, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, etc. My overall tone and sound that I have in mind comes from these bands.

Some recent events that transpired made me realise that what I attended before wasn't going to work for some reasons I won't mention here. Every time an opportunity comes up, it gets crushed by someone or something else, so this is me having the final straw in the matter and attempting something of my own, where I know nothing can crash and burn the chance at achieving a dream.

I think the time has come to try my hand at managing my own band and starting something up with other punk rockers. I don't expect it to be an easy start, but I want it more than anything. So, I want to offer a place for anybody out there who plays the bass and is in England who'd be willing to join me. Of course, I expect nothing to be long-distance given how shitty it is out there at the moment thanks to this f-ing virus, but I'm going to try and see. I'm asking around until I find the right fit for this band.

I'm only looking for a bassist as of this moment because I'm going to experiment first with tones and what more fits what I'm looking for. If it works out, then I'll move on to adding more members to the band.

In terms of experience, I've been a guitarist for almost four years now, coming in February. (Three years and seven months, I think), so if you've been at it the same amount of time, more or less, then I think we'll get along fine! I already have a number of sound samples to demonstrate the sound I'm going for if you want to hear what you'll be getting into, and before you ask, I handle all the lyrics and general composing. I have a couple of books' worth of content yet to try out and toy with, so we're not short on original material. Of course, I do welcome anything you yourself have made.
