With the launch of the RTX 3080 and PS5 pre-orders going live today, I just wanted to say that until castration of scalpers and the people who enable that behavior becomes legal, I fully support disappointed honest customers fucking with them as much as humanly possible.
Place fake but legit-looking bids, and when it comes to FB Marketplace, sound as believable as possible and make them drive to a police station for a physical transaction that is not going to occur. Make them waste gas.
Make it as big of a headache as possible for them to offload something they want to make 100%+ profit on. The absolute worst they can do when it comes to social media is block you.
And no, as enticing as it sounds currently, I'm not in the market for a 3080 quite yet; that would be absolute overkill for my 2k ultrawide; I'll need to make the jump to a beefy 4K display before I can justify that kind of power in my rig.
