So I've been following a thing called Blaseball! Long story short, it's a crazy online baseball simulator that runs a season a week and insane things happen in the game. I also am involved with the Twitter RP community for it, and they're a delightful bunch. Anyway, my team, the Philly Pies, made it to the postseason amidst tons of tragedy involving them and the rest of the league, and I was inspired by one of the games against the Seattle Garages to write this minific. Some of it may be a little hard to follow exactly without knowing what's been going on, but I hope I did a good enough job of explaining things in the story to make it still not too hard to follow without prior knowledge.
