Hi all,
My father went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2020 and we had a private family funeral Friday Sept. 4. I just got back home and I am still in the grieving process. I have accepted the fact that he is no longer in pain and I will see him and other family members who have gone home before. He had hip surgery after a fall at his farm, but was in poor health the week before he passed. He was 73 years of age.

Thank you all for the kind words. My church friends and others have expressed their condolences. I received some chrysanthemums and some roses from family members.
I know my father is in a better place and i was allowed to give a brief eulogy before the minister offered his presentation. My sister took care of the arrangements. He's buried not far from my maternal grandparents.
