We could all use a moment of levity right now. Fortunately, I just experienced two.
So, I hied off to Target because I needed a few things, I didn't want to wait for the Amazon delivery, I hadn't left the house in over a week, and there was a chance they'd have those neat half-skeletal ponies I mentioned a bit ago. They didn't, but I still acquired everything else on my list and also got a pleasant reminder that the rest of the world is still there. On my way out, as I took in the faces covered in surgical blue or sterile white, I considered my own tie-dyed mask.
In that moment, I understood why people pay for video game cosmetics.
On a more pony-related note, only after I got back home did I realize just what I'd done with one purchase in particular. See, my Switch's Joy-Cons had fallen prey to stick drift, and no amount of fixes were cutting it. So, I had to hunker down and get some new ones. And only as I took them out of the box did I realize...
They were OTP colored. 
I wonder if this ever happens to Monochromatic...
ETA: It appears this was more vague than I realized. I shall add additional, thematically appropriate context.
If they come in purple and white, I'll chip in to get Monochromatic a set!
