Unfortunate news...

Hey y'all! It's been a while since I logged in here. Life has thrown me and my family a curveball for the first 4 months of 2024. As the title suggests, I regret to inform my friends and followers here that my mom passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 65 due to stage 4 non-smoker lung cancer. I'm going to tell you what happened to her in another blog.

Here is the first look of the main protagonist, Raya, who's going to be the first Southeast Asian Disney Princess.

Directed by Paul Briggs and Dean Wellins, co-directed by John Ripa, produced by Osnat Shurer, and written by Adele Lim, the film is set in a fictional fantasy land called Kumandra, inspired by Southeast Asian cultures from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Laos.

Originally scheduled to be released on November 25, 2020, it has been delayed to March 12, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Raya will be voiced by Cassie Steele and Sisu the water dragon will be voiced by Awkwafina.
