Okay, so yeah, FIMfic? Gotten a bit crazy, hasn't it? We've had someone doxed, or depending on who you ask, claiming to be doxed. I don't know which is true at the moment, as I didn't know the person personally so I can't say one way or the other. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. As I said, I didn't know iisaw nor did I get to see the full details of what went down so I can't take a stance on the matter.
Now me personally? I hate Nazis, who doesn't right? If it goose-steps like a Nazi, 'sieg heils' like a Nazi, it's probably a nazi. I've got friends who got plenty of reason to hate nazis. This is where I may get a little preachy so excuse me. There are certain teenagers who probably don't know what the swastika means and want to use it as it's 'edgy'. For that, I say, go look in a history book or hell maybe talk to your grandparents. Submitted for your approval, they are a timepiece from when some men decided to turn the Earth into a graveyard. Into it, they shoveled all of their reason, their logic, their knowledge, but worst of all, their conscience. And the moment we forget this, the moment we cease to be haunted by its remembrance, then we become the gravediggers.
However, there are lines. Because this could very well turn into an internet witch hunt. Now, I've done some research, and there are about only... oh, 17 stories with Ayranne on FIMfic, and only 100 stories containing the keyword Nazi, and quite a few of those are about fighting the Nazis. So again, I say there are lines. It's a very slippery slope to jump off and we could very well be going on internet witch hunts. Yes, I took a more hardline stance the last time I talked about this, but I've had time to reflect. How do we separate the real monsters from those we simply imagine and use as a target for our rage?
Just something to think on, as I love FIMfiction. I've made actual friends here. I don't want it to be turned inside out. Yes, I know change is necessary and often ugly but something to reflect on.
Now, that's not to say there are some people who should be removed. Foalcon supporters, oh yes. There's well over 17,000 images with that tag on Derpibooru, so it's a safe bet they exist in the fandom. The scary thing, in my mind? We haven't given two hoots in hell about them, so what will it take to drag them out into the open in all of their ugliness. I personally don't want to know.
Question? Theirs a ton of foalcon fanfic that knighty isn’t deleting are you mad that he isn’t doing anything about that? And what of the authors who write that are you kinda condemning them too?

Personally wish it was taught more in schools. Needless to say I am not a fan of either of the two major parties in America and many people today refuse to see the problems with both parties.
As for the whole foalcon issue is that it is so prevalent in society. Unfortunately how laws are currently written is protecting these people.
I'm going to throw in my two cents, I think most of the Aryanne stories being posted or gaining traction at the moment is because of our current political climate and is being used as fuel for a fire. As for foalcon I'm against it too, but the site has rules against the type of NSFW content that can be posted and foalcon is allowed, I believe if Faust had provided more information about the ponies like average life span and the ages of the elements and others we'd be able to weed out foalcon without getting into a political debate with kiddy diddlers about how "Equestria is different and ponies mature earlier yadda yadda"
My stance on foalcon just the same as loli/shotacon, I'm fine with them existing as in reality they cause no harm, unless a real life child is involved this including foalcon basing it on real child.
But generally not a huge deal as it seem some on the Internet have forgot that it fiction and we shouldn't be giving drawings rights lime a living them, and not many know this but real child predators use this to help avoid justice.
I'm only saying this as a artist believes ypu should draw whatever ypu like as long it doesn't hurt anybody.

See, this is where I disagree. It doesn't matter if it's based on a real child or if it's a fictional child. Foalcon is foalcon no matter how you slice it.
It is very out of character for iisaw to play the victim like that. I'd have some serious questions for anybody suggesting he's crying wolf.
Something to keep in mind is that there is going to be an avoidance of being specifically "Nazi". You can find a LOT of far right people with fascist ideals, but few that would openly admit to being a Nazi supporter. There is simply too much bad press to be had there.
Also, I believe most openly Nazi/Aryanne stories have been de-listed as per knighty's post. They still exist but they dont get ratings and dont show up on searches. You'll also need to turn on Mature.

See i would agree with you 100% but then theirs japan which is pretty lax about stuff like that. Which even japan itself fought back when the UN tried to have it ban so I don’t know anymore. It's a complex issue because people dont choose to be pedos any more than they can choose to be gay. Yes, I'm aware gay and pedo are two very different things, that's not the point. On the one hand, fictional work gives some kind of outlet that doesnt actually hurt anyone. On the other, some take it not as an outlet, but as encouragement. Theres no black and white in the morality of fictional works like that.
But if the second group were to be drug into the street and shot, I really wouldn't feel bad at all.

It's been tiresome to see so many fandoms get dragged into the culture war and the ensuing moral panic over the years. It feels like any fandom that reaches its Eternal September moment is doomed to repeat history. Protect your nascent, sweetheart fandom, for a seething abyss of purity spirals, emotional arguments, and absolutes, await it if you don't.
Sort of reminds me of one of Snakeskin Ducttape's stories.
Your local laws may vary--and knighty may have legal concerns given UK's "puritan" sex laws--but I don't think foalcon content would even be considered illegal in my country, foalcon fanfics even less so. The local law in my area only makes images and other visual recordings illegal and only if they are factual (IRL abuse was involved in production e.g. a photo depicting IRL sexual abuse) or realistic (i.e. more or less photorealistic enough so as to be indistinguishable from factual images or other visual recordings).
Personally, I don't think we can use a stick to beat pedophilia out of people no more than we can beat other sexual fetishes out of people. We can, however, steer them away from abusing people (or animals) with a legal victim-free outlet as a carrot as well as support groups.
I also question the "gateway" slippery slope argument given the lack of rampant IRL bestiality in the sexually active part of the furry fandom (plenty of drawn feral porn out there).

Honestly, because it is such a complex and divisive issue, I wouldn't complain if knighty banned it. This is his site after all. Arguments can be made that it gives people who swing that way a safe release. Arguments can also be made that it helps people indulge until they want more and actually hurt somebody. If someone made a big enough stink, he might just ban it to get rid of the drama.
However... part of the reason we are talking about it is because so many people are trying to steer the topic away from Nazi stuff by deflecting it to the foalcon. You ever notice that is where it usually gets mentioned? I'm not saying it isn't a discussion we shouldn't have. I'm just hoping to get people to notice when that happens.

You dont have to leave it alone. I just think we should be conscious of the fact that Nazis and foalcon are separate conversations. What happens to one does not impact the other*. People who bring foalcon into a discussion on Nazi stuff are just trying to distract from the argument. If foalcon bothers you, go make a post about it instead of derailing the subject at hand**.
