Does anyone else do this?

Whenever I’m taking a shower, sometimes I’ll just pause randomly and just stare off into space, and I do it for like a minute or so. I’ll just think about random stuff while the water runs over me.

I can’t be the only one who does that. Right?

I usually sing or listen military marches while taking a shower/bath. I tried other things, but every other kind of music feels weird or just not that fun to sing or listen... No it's not a fetish (At least I REALLY hope it is not.)

[The Sound of Loneliness]

Happens every morning to me. Shower is like one of the few times a day when I do not have any pressing matters and I can just sit there and have a moment for myself. The sound of running water tends to induce a state of... meditation, I suppose you can say so. I do not think about anything per se, I just sit down and focus on the sound, sight, and feeling of water running over me. I always adored water, even at the times when I was really tiny. Most children are afraid of swimming over deep places but that was never about me, whenever I had an opportunity, I swam in every lake, river or sea I could get into. My parents were often against the idea, but I never was an obedient son. I wasn't even afraid of the cold, whether the water is ice cold or steaming hot I never cared. Also, winter is my favourite season. I prefer the cold over the heat and also there's a ton of frozen water all around me.
