So. Wielders of Harmony. I haven't updated in two months, which in the grand scheme of things really isn't that long, but it's long enough to give my anxiety.
To be fair, I've been trying to work on the story. But everything I write just seems... so dry. I've completely lost all of my drive, my excitement. Now it just feels like a chore. Not to mention I don't have as clear as an idea as I did before... I knew exactly what was going to happen all the way up to Ruto joining the group, but now my ideas are vaguer and harder for me to grasp.
So, what I'm here to say is that Wielders of Harmony will not be updated for a while. I'm going to take time off from focusing on just getting the next chapter out to work with the pencil and paper version off-screen. I think that maybe if I stop panicking over nonexistent deadlines and instead try to iron out my ideas, I may be able to rediscover my passion for this story.
Thanks for reading, everyone. Rest assured Wielders of Harmony WILL come back... I had too much fun to completely drop it forever. I just need a bit of time to work with it and not worry over the audience I have here.
Thanks again! I hope you have a great day/night.

do what you need to. that drive has a habit of coming and going for all writers at times. we'll wait.
It seems like you might be burning yourself out on the story. If that is the case, then taking time off from the story would indeed be the best idea. Regardless, know that we'll be here and we'll be patient, no matter how long you take.
Ooh, I don’t think I’ve ever related to anything more. Curse those imaginary deadlines! But by all means, take all the time you need. There’s few things worse than feeling pressured to write something (even if the pressure is coming from yourself), because that kinda sucks the fun out of it.
But continuing on paper sounds like a great way to rekindle the passion for your fic, and again, take as much time as you need! Most important thing is that you still love the story.
You got this. Do what you need to do, and we'll be waiting.
I know how you feel Epona, trust me. Take as much time as you need to .
Take your time. Don’t force yourself to write and publish something that you don’t like. I’m sure the wait will be worth it.
Don’t feel bad, at this point it’s a natural part of the process for us. Shell, I literally just did it about a few days with one of my own stories so I know where you’re coming from. That self-inflicted guilt you feel when you can’t regularly update something is never wrecking. Take your time, you got people willing to wait as long as it takes, which of course, will include me once I bang out another Splatoon chapter.
take the time you need friend
