Three-act Play - A Collab with Dave Bryant · 12:25am Jul 10th, 2020
So, I recently stumbled across an incredibly good story called Amphorae. It was super enthralling, to the point where I was leaving comments on just about every chapter, and afterwards I wound up hitting it off with the just-as-incredibly-good author, Dave Bryant. You'll never guess what the first thing I asked about was.
As it turns out, I'm either way more persuasive than I thought, or Dave is really receptive and open to my constant pestering suggestions, cuz not a couple weeks later, we were working together on a sequel to Amphorae starring my baby girl, Wally. One five-hour marathon story planning session later, and we had a solid outline for a hopefully worthy followup to one of the best stories I've read in ages.
If you like my stuff, you'll adore this. Dave is a wonderfully evocative writer who truly knows how to draw out the best in his characters. He's also one of the only writers I've seen who's created an original character that seamlessly fits into the world of the show, existing just beyond the outskirts of canon but fitting in perfectly with the cast. Go give it and Amphorae (and all the rest of his stuff!!!) a read. Or else.
