Story Updates, and announcements

Howdy all!

First off, I really want to thank everyone who has been so supportive and understanding about my situation. To everyone who sent me a comission in the past, whether I could finish it or not, thank you for your patience.

Now. Moving on to something else. The Second One Shot that I've got coming.

So a while ago I wrote a story called "Where Did Sandbar Send the Flowers" a comission for FiMFiction user Parker commissioned me to do it. And it was something I never would have attempted, were it not commissioned to.

A Homosexual romance.

Do not take this the wrong way. I hold no prejudices, I just have no faith in myself as a writer. I am not gay. I was worried that if I tried to write a gay romance it would come off as stilted, awkward, or worse than anything, insultingly patronizing. I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable reading my stuff, and I was worried that my stumbling attempts to put myself in a headspace I had never been in would seem disingenuous.

But... I was thinking way to hard. Love is love, and I have had a crush before. That's all I needed to make the story work... And according to the reception it did. Parker, at least, certainly thought it was decent. So much so that he was kind enough to commission a sequel.

That Sequel was the last story I got done before everything collapsed on me.

It needs some editing but next week, enjoy Why Did Gallus Take Sandbar to Dinner... Once again, two weeks after Pride Month. Way to freaking go, advertising.

And then, after that is out and done... There's no more commitments left. (Ad coming in hot.)

The Warden of Tartarus has elected to play a new game with princess Twilight Sparkle. The pieces in play? Not only the time-tested Council of Friendship, but some fresh blood as well. Mercury Breeze, a young Kirin with aspirations of becoming a Novelist. Pound Cake, a delivery pony for his Parents bakery. His sister Pumpkin Cake, a young Mare who's a bit adrift in her life. Her boyfriend Down Beat, who wants to bring Metal back into the Equestrian Main Stream. Creme Rich, youngest daughter of the Rich family who wants to make her own fortune. Finally, there's Luster Dawn. Twilight Sparkle's star pupil who is a little worried about how her mind works.

A story of moving forward. A story of inner and outer demons. A story of the value of free will. All parties involved are working toward the same goal. Albeit from different angles.
