July Updates: · 6:40am Jul 6th, 2020
Another month, another round of updates in between work.
So first things first: Dreamers got a small update earlier today, and I definitely want to try and get another out before the end of the month. I’m going to be kind of personal and honest here, but I’m finding it really hard to keep motivated with writing the story out. I feel like it’s been getting hit with more dislikes than I was expecting it to and no explanation for why, and it’s honestly starting to make me feel like it’s just not worth continuing. The feedback I’ve gotten is great, but the story just isn’t meeting my expectations and it keeps bringing me down a lot more than it should. I don’t think I’m going to outright quit, but it might stop seeing as regular of updates.
New Horizons: I’ve got another big chapter in the works and I’m hopefully going to have that out in a couple of weeks, it starts to get into some more more stuff and I’m really happy with how it’s looking so far. There’s going to be another big arc after this chapter and then the story will probably go into hiatus for a little while while I finish up the plans for the last half of the story.
Stardust: I’m making some progress on the next chapter and hopefully I’ll have at least that done soon. I want to get back into updating this more often because I’ve found some newly refreshed motivation for the project.
Misc projects: I don’t think I’ll have any kind of new story out this month, though I do want to go into some of my existing stories and do a little spring cleaning. The three pandemic stories need a little adjusting here and there, and I want to rework a little bit of “Waiting Room” just to give it some more love and maybe even an extra bonus chapter or something.
So that’s all for now, hopefully I’ll have some more stuff to share sooner rather than later!
