My Thoughts on the Musical "Hamilton" (yes you read that right) · 11:00pm Jul 3rd, 2020
Seriously, for all of my fellow theater nerds out there, we have been geeking about this for a couple of months now (literally in this case)! It has happened and I seriously can't be happier! I had been wanting to see this on a professional level since 2015 (of course). Yet because of ticket prices and...other factors, I was perpetually unable to afford tickets to see Hamilton on Broadway (or any show during the original US tour). You can imagine my shock when I heard that what was supposed to be the theatrical release of a taped show was moving from summer 2021 to summer 2020, independence day weekend specifically, I well....Okay I shrieked from excitement at the realization that I've been harmlessly syphoning off my sister's Disney+ account since November of last year! Needless to say I just got done watching it and I am still vibrating from energy!
It was everything I expected it to be: Awesome! Sure the fact that they had to censor 2 f--bombs kinda took the energy down a tiny bit, but I digress. The show was definitely full of energy! Give and take to support that PG-13 rating I suppose.
Anyways, this was FANTASTIC AND WORDS FAIL ME TO EXPRESS ANY LESS!!!
