IN WHICH I POP UP AND THEN DISAPPEAR AGAIN

One of the girls also dances backup for Babymetal, so there's that. Anyway, an apologia beyond the jump.
I'm afraid I have to keep this shorter than I'd like because I'm on a time limit. Let's start with my apologizing profusely about my lack of uploading -- even by my pathetic standards. It's only mostly my fault.
After more than four months, I'm still stuck in my hometown caring for my dying father. Honestly, I didn't expect him to last to July, but he has. It's been a tremendous psychological strain being around him every single day all day since I got out of "quarantine" at the end of May. While story ideas sometimes flit through my head, I have neither the mental or physical capacity to act on them absent a shit-ton of caffeine.
What I can tell the two of you who may still read my blog posts is that I have been slowly working on the fifth and final chapter of this year's Mayor Mare story. I wanted to get it out by the end of June but I failed. I suppose the 20th of July -- exactly six months after the first chapter posted -- is as good a deadline as any. I'll try my best to fart out that story's ending, the contents of which may surprise you.
Beyond that, I'm tired of EQUESTRIA GIRLS. Fortunately I already had an ending planned. Once I'm through with the Mayor Mare story, I'll do another chapter or two of EQG?! and be done with it.
Beyond that? I don't know. Since I've been gone, I can only assume this site is slowly or quickly dying with the ending of the show. I'd love to be able to show y'all Blooming Friendship and my final Sunset Story for which I've yet to find a good title. Alas, I'm so slow and things are so shit right now it'll probably never happen even if I do finish.
Yes, I've had ideas percolating in my head for years. But that's for another day.
