Chapter 5, 6, and 7 Status for "The Wife of Old Draconequus"

Woah, has it really been Sept 14th, 2019 since the last updated chapter for "The Wife of the Old Draconequus":0? Oh Celestia, I'm so sorry for keeping you all waited for so long, but believe me when I say, I have been working on it. In fact, my plan is to finish Chapter 5, 6, and 7 first before releasing these three chapters in a weekly fashion (aka one chapter per week). So far, Chapter 5 and 6 are done, and I'm still working on Chapter 7. Once Chapter 7 is done, I will send all three chapters to my editor. Once all edited, they'll be ready to go and ready to post^^!

But until then, I want to give you guys something to chew on while waiting patiently. By the way, thank you sooo much for all your patience for these upcoming chapters <3 As most of you already know, I usually write incredibly long chapters for this storyXD Because they're long, they usually take a long while to writeXD What makes the writing process for these chapters even longer is the fact that I'm such a perfectionist for this story. I really want every chapter I produce for this to be absolutely perfect or as perfect as it can be in order to honor the original story that it's based on. AKA The Ancient Magus Bride. And then add the time it takes my wonderful editor to edit these incredibly long chapters, and I always feel so bad in giving them such long chapters to editXD Sooooo yeah, it's no surprise yet also a surprise that the wait time for these chapters has been so agonizing XD Lol!

I'm glad to hear that there will be updates soon! I've enjoyed the story so far, and it actually got me interested in the anime/manga, so I read several volumes online. I have yet to watch the anime, though...but it's on my list of things to watch!

Oh my gosh really?!:D My story encouraged you to check out Ancient Magus Bride?!:D Yes! That was one of my main goals for my story, to encourage my readers to check out the original story:D Yay, that just made my day^^! How far are you in the manga?:) What do you think of the AMB manga so far? I cannot wait for you to check out the anime, I love the anime and I checked out the anime first before reading the manga:) Here's my guide to watching the anime: There's only one season out so far for the anime (but I have a feeling we'll get a second season soon enough once the current arc in the manga series finishes and whatnot), with 24 episodes total and a three part OVA called "Those Awaiting a Star" (that is only available in sub, and it's pretty much canon because it was written by the Kore Yamazaki.) It's available on Crunchyroll or Funimation (with both dub and sub versions), watch the first 12 episodes, then watch the OVA, then watch the rest of the episodes:) While the OVA is not completely necessary, I like to think it's necessary because it's the most beautiful OVA I've ever seen for an anime series and it just enforces how awesome & beautiful The Ancient Magus Bride^^ ;) Soooo, I highly recommend the OVA;) The OVA doesn't have a dub version, just a sub version.

I forget which volume I stopped at, exactly, but it was fairly soon after Chise starts attending the Academy and Elias starts teaching there. I'm sure more volumes have come out since then...I've enjoyed the manga so far, though!

Thank you for telling me where I can find episodes, and about the OVA! I prefer subbed versions to dubbed, though I'll usually watch whatever option is avaliable.

Oh, sounds like you're right at the start of the College Arc and I believe you're at volume 10^^ Not too many volumes have been released since then, the latest volume was Volume 12:) Volume 13 is coming out on Oct. 13 (haha they planned/coordinated this I swearXD Lol!)
