Last night I had a strange but oddly comedic take on the concept of social distancing... · 4:37pm Jul 1st, 2020
So...I had a beyond weird dream last night related to coronavirus. Not weird as in awful, like it was a scene from a horror film, but in an oddly comedic way.
I don't remember much from the dream, but because I'm looking forward to hanging out with someone I haven't seen since school ended and my cousin, who I hardly ever see, I was dreaming we all got together in the middle of town in the city of Hull, the neighbour to my town. The moment we saw each other, we hugged and said how glad we were to see each other after so long. The best part was it felt so real. Right, we should social distance, yada-yada, but this is a dream, so it doesn't apply.
We were hanging around town and we ended up in a pub that had just opened under strict supervision. I remember it being dark on the inside and we were all drinking and having a laugh. I was trying to leave with them, but to reduce infection risk, there's one exit door and one entry door. I was going through the exit and patiently waiting to be let out through the que. When I did, I ended up in a different place, it seemed. Like a Harry Potter-type world, where everything was old-fashioned yet invested with fantasy vibes. There was a museum-type place, a castle of sorts, similar to those you see made of plastic in theme parks.
From there, it all became strange. I entered this place and discovered it was a tour of some kind that was crossed with a shopping centre. For some reason, due to regulations (which made no sense, by the way), a new rule of checking for corona was applied: frisking people. That means everyone. There was a group of school girls getting frisked by soldiers there to keep the peace, patting them down. Some of them enjoyed it more than others, and I even got frisked at some point, but it felt like a pillow fight.
I was chatting to some of these school girls as I was going along and I don't remember what we spoke about. I only recall some very brief moments where they apparently got a little turned on by getting frisked, and...some suggestive comments were made that I can't mention. Yeah, use your imagination...lewdness ensues.
So, I spent the entire dream trying to get out of this shopping centre / fantasy castle tour, and it was like a labyrinth of horny, frisking, coronavirus-checking soldiers. That's all I remember. I'm not sure how to feel about this dream, but the nicest part was seeing people I cared about and haven't seen in years. Knowing that this will soon be a reality again at some point this month (with some hope), I'm happy about it. The rest of the dream? Well, I can't stop giggling about it. I, myself, feel like one of those schoolgirls.

Seriously, corona isn't a joke, nor should it be treated as such. Keep your distance, sanitise your hands, wear masks, stay out of massive crowds for health reasons, stop it spreading, etc. The sooner we do all of these things, the sooner life can return to normal. Sound good? Good. Do it.
Hope this little dream amused you like it did for me.

I have no idea who that is. Is she scary?

It’s actually a Weird Al reference, he has a song called ‘Stuck In The Closet With Vanna White’, which is about ridiculous dreams. It’s a Van Halen style parody.
Vanna White is the girl that reveals the letters on Wheel of Fortune.
that is one heck of a dream
