Svengallop represents the dark side of the music industry · 3:22pm Jun 11th, 2020
As someone who's a fan and follower of many musicians, I've read their stories on social media about the ups and downs of their careers. Svengallop is the former manager of Coloratura who used her fame to manipulate others. He's a stuck up pony who turned her into something she's not, despises the concept of charity, and only cares about himself and getting what he wants. He even blackmailed Pinkie Pie by threatening to pull Rara out of the festival if she didn't follow his orders.
If one is a musician, they are contractually bound by a record label and their manager or representative is in charge of the events to promote their music. There's always a dark side to everything, especially when it comes to music. Swedish DJ Avicii shared his experiences about the pressure from his management to continue with live performances despite his objections. His manager knew about his health problems, but refused to label them as mental health problems.
There are also severe incidents that exist within the industry and in this video, women have opened up about it, including British singer Chlöe Howl.
Canadian singer Kiesza revealed her story in this article about seeing people she trusted turn into monsters.
The episode, The Mane Attraction, served as a lesson for aspiring musicians to think carefully before being signed to a record label because not all labels are the same. Some allow them to make music in their own terms while some have people who make decisions for them, to the point of turning them into sellouts and harassing/abusing them for their own benefit.
Billy Joel comes to mind. He discovered that his manager had been using the money that Joel had made from his records to enrich himself.

Selena was shot to death by her manager because of embezzling money from the fan club using forged checks.
